Anthony Williams – Founder

Anthony, Automotive Liaison, AIST founder

Anthony is an automotive mechanic by trade. His life opportunities have taken him from nearly dropping out of high school to earning his master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and teaching in an alternative high school. In order to better reach and support his students in all subject areas, he began learning ways to teach reading, science, and math, etc. in his automotive classrooms.

Over the last year, Anthony has developed partnerships with the automotive industry with his contagious passion. Several companies will be providing internships to AIST students, and Carquest Training Institute, Tech Force Foundation, and other industry professions will be helping write the curriculum.

A Passion for Education

Deborah and Anthony, SEMA

Both Anthony and Deborah excel in developing relationships with students, parents, and community members. They have spent the last year and a half researching the different components to running and opening a charter school.

They are quick learners, but also know when to ask for other’s expertise. They have formed excellent relationships with other charter school leaders and organizations including the Colorado League of Charter Schools.

Their goal is to share their love of project-based learning and automotive engineering with teenagers.

Driven to Excellence
